Brand-New Yoga Meditation Course

Jimmy Barkan - Owner, Barkan Method Hot Yoga

Join me on a Spiritual journey where I will teach you Meditation techniques passed down from the ages by the Gurus and ancient Yogis that will help you quiet your mind, find your center and be in a better place to accomplish whatever it is that you want in life.

In most Yoga schools the focus is on the Yoga posture or Asana, and that's what we are taught.

Recently, especially since the pandemic, the demand for the spiritual side of Yoga has increased and that's why I created this brand-new Yoga meditation course,

Because Yoga is all about the physical, mental and spiritual, and when you bring all three together in your Yoga practice you create a wonderful unity between your mind, body and soul.

"Yogas Chitta Vritti Nirodha"

This is the most famous 2000 year old Yoga Sutra from the ancient sage Patanjali, which simply translates as 'Yoga quiets the mind' , his writings are about Yoga Meditation, not Yoga postures.

His lineage started with the Great Sage Mahavatar Babaji who taught his #1 disciple Lahiri Mahasaya, who taught his #1 disciple Swami Sri Yukestwar, who taught Paramahansa Yogananda. Yogananda was Bishnu Ghosh’s older brother and Guru. Bishnu Ghosh is the founder & creator of Hot Yoga. Bikram Choudhury, Ghosh’s top student brought Hot Yoga to America in the 70’s.
